phase 1 is the new construction of a brand new wing at the southernmost edge of the existing Unionville High School Building. This new wing will house the Unionville-Chadds Ford Area School District Administrative Offices on the ground floor, as well as brand new classroom space on the second floor and new science laboratories on the third floor.
Included in the new construction includes excavation and foundation work, structural steel erection, facade construction, and interior finish work. Phase 1 is scheduled to take approximately one year from start until completion, at which point a transition phase will begin where the personnel currently located in the existing Administrative Offices will beging to move into the newly constructed Administrative Offices.
